History of worship of Hanuman

OM SRI HANUMATHE NAMAHA.

Besides the Vedic, the Post-Vedic Literature, and the Puranas, Hanuman was adored in one form or the other in Classical Sanskrit Literature as well. In fact a continuous chain of such literature is maintained from the centuries before the Christian Era to the late medieval times, a few examples of which are given hereunder in a chronological order.

5th - 1st Century B.C.
