Divine attributes of Lord Rama.

OM SRI HANUMATHE RAMA PRIYAAYA NAMAHA.

What Hanuman sings is the eulogy of RAMA as the supreme spirit, the Lord, the master and God. The following seven prostrations, which constitute Hanuman's song are taken to provide the essential ideas
of the six kandas Valmiki's Ramayana which however was a later composition. This song is regarded as HANUMAD-RAMAYANA, Hanuman's own observations about the career of RAMA on earth. The seven brief sentences pertain to the divine attributes of RAMA, which made him the Maha-purusha or Maryada-purusha.

1) Om namo bhagavate uttama slokaya namaha.
(Balakanda)

2) Om aarya lakshana seelavrataya namaha.
(Ayodhya-kanda)

3) Om upa shikshitatmane namaha.
(Aranya-kanda)

4) Om upasitha lokaya namaha.
(Kishkinda-kanda)

5) Om sadhu vada nikashaya namaha.
(Sundara-kanda)

6) Om brahmanya devaya namaha.
(Yuddha-kanda)

7) Om maha purusha maha rajaya namaha.
(Uttara-kanda)
